Lambert Automate circa 1890. A001
This automate is found in its original costume, it has a size 4 closed mouth Jumeau with brown paper weight eyes.
This Automate represents a young girl trying to feed a small bird.
In her right hand she hold some raspberries and on her left hand is perched a small "Piaf" (small Parisian sparrow).
There is one air of music that plays as her left hand rises to present the fruits to the bird and on doing so the bird reaches down to peck at them, while her head turns from left to right.
Condition: The clothing is slightly worn but generally in good condition, the wig has been replaced, the music works well unfortunately we don't know the name of it and the title on the Lambert ticket on the base has been worn away.
The bisque hands and head are all in perfect condition.
