This doll, sometimes called a half-pouty is a large sized doll measuring 61 cms aprox 24ins on a toddler body. The head is marked SFBJ 247 Paris and 21 (the 21 is for the year it was made).He has blue sleeping eyes.
The clothing is not very old but is very well made.
Condition:The head is in perfect condition with just one firing mark on the rim of the head (see photo) it does not reach the forehead and no hairline is running from it. The moulding is strong and the colouring is good and even. The body is in very good condition with just some paint flaking on the hands.

A rare and very good example of this doll, she measures 32 cms aprox 12.5 ins the head is marked SFBJ 250 2 and the body is incised on the back 3, this is not uncommon with SFBJ dolls. Her wig is original.
Her clothing is of the same period and appears to be original to this doll, the shoes are  made of blue felt and are old.
Condition: the bisque head is perfect and so is the body, no excuses for this beauty.

This doll is marked 227, he measures 37 cms apro 15 ins.His head is perfect and well painted with no imperfections to note.
He is on a SFBJ doll body,  the clothing and shoes are of the same period but the socks are new and very well made ( hand knitted ).
Condition: the head is perfect, this doll has good quality bisque with nicely moulded features,and good art work, his facial expression is really quite endearing. The body is very clean, there is just some flaking on one thigh.

This is a rare and large sized SFBJ 238 character doll is in his original woollen clothing ready for school .
He is on an early SFBJ doll body. The head is of a very pale bisque and in perfect condition, there is very slight  rubbing on the nose, no doubt he was well loved.His paperweight  eyes are blue and fixed, and he measures 50 cms. aprox. 20 ins.
Condition: overall in good condition and a valuable addition to any collection.
